1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Vibecode Studio ("we", "us", or "our") handles data in connection with our Power BI custom visuals available through Microsoft AppSource and other distribution channels.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our custom visuals are designed with a privacy-first approach and do not collect, store, or transmit any personal or business data.

2. Data Processing

How Our Visuals Work

Our Power BI custom visuals operate entirely within your Power BI environment. This means:

• All data processing happens locally within Power BI Desktop or the Power BI Service
• Data is rendered directly in your browser or application
• No data leaves your Power BI environment through our visuals

Data We Do NOT Collect

Our custom visuals do NOT:

• Collect personal information
• Store any data from your reports or datasets
• Transmit data to external servers
• Use cookies or tracking technologies
• Access data outside of what you explicitly provide to the visual
• Log or record your usage patterns
• Share data with third parties

Data Access

Our visuals only access:

• Data fields you explicitly drag into the visual’s data roles (e.g., Category, Values)
• Formatting settings you configure in Power BI
• Power BI theme and color palette information

This data is used solely for rendering the visualization and is never stored or transmitted outside your Power BI environment.

3. Microsoft Power BI Platform

Our visuals run within the Microsoft Power BI platform. Microsoft’s own privacy policies and data handling practices apply to:

• Your Power BI account
• Data stored in Power BI Service
• Power BI Desktop application usage

4. AppSource Distribution

When you download our visuals through Microsoft AppSource:

• Microsoft may collect information about the download (not by us)
• We receive only aggregated, anonymous statistics from Microsoft about download counts
• We do not receive any identifying information about individual users

5. Updates and Changes

When you update our visuals to newer versions:

• No personal data is collected during the update process
• Your existing formatting settings remain stored locally in your Power BI reports
• The update only replaces the visual code, not your data

6. Security

Our visuals:

• Are built following Microsoft’s Power BI visual development guidelines
• Undergo certification review by Microsoft (for certified visuals)
• Do not include any external network calls or data transmission capabilities
• Use only approved Power BI APIs

7. Children's Privacy

Our visuals are business tools intended for use by professionals. We do not knowingly collect or process data from children under 16 years of age.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store any personal data through our visuals, traditional data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) do not apply to our visual products.
