StandCue reads your calendar and nudges you to move at the right moment,
never mid-meeting and never during focus. Below are answers to the most common questions.

Frequently asked questions
I am not getting movement nudges
- Open iOS Settings → StandCue → Notifications and make sure notifications are allowed.
- Turn on Background App Refresh (iOS Settings → General → Background App Refresh) so cues stay in step with your calendar.
- Grant Calendar access so StandCue can time nudges around your real events.
- Avoid force-quitting the app; it can still deliver scheduled cues, but leaving it running keeps everything current.
The cues or the app are in the wrong language
Open StandCue → Settings → Language and pick your language
(or leave it on “System” to follow your phone). StandCue is available in English, Dutch,
German, French and Spanish.
My stand or walk was not counted automatically
- Grant Health access. In iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → StandCue,
make sure Steps, Exercise Minutes, Stand Minutes and Stand Hours are on.
- An Apple Watch makes verification faster and more accurate, but it is optional. iPhone motion also counts a real short walk.
- Health data can take a minute or two to register. Reopen StandCue and it will score any movement it finds.
- You can always tap the item on the timeline to mark it done yourself.
Choosing which calendars StandCue reads
In StandCue → Settings you can pick which calendars StandCue looks at and
which one leads. StandCue only reads your events to time nudges; it never changes them.
Free trial, unlocking and restoring
- StandCue starts with a 14-day free trial with every feature unlocked.
- After the trial, a single one-time purchase keeps StandCue yours forever. There is no subscription.
- New phone or reinstalled the app? Tap Restore purchase on the unlock screen to get access back with the same Apple ID.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
Focus timer and app blocking
The Focus tab runs work blocks and stays quiet while you focus, then nudges you to move on
the break. If you turn on app blocking, iOS asks for Screen Time permission; that stays on
your device.
Privacy
StandCue is private by default: no account, no cloud, and your calendar and health data
never leave your iPhone. Read the full Privacy Policy.
