Frequently asked questions
- I bought Soulvana Plus but can't see it any more.
- Go to You, Soulvana Plus and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with. The app then checks your purchase with Apple or Google again. You won't need to pay again.
- Can my family use Soulvana Plus too?
- Yes, on iPhone. Soulvana Plus supports Family Sharing, so family members get Plus automatically. If it doesn't show yet, open You, Soulvana Plus and tap Restore purchases. On Android, family sharing is not available for Soulvana Plus: the purchase belongs to the Google account you made it with. Your data is never shared: it stays on each person's own device.
- What is the taster?
- The taster lets you try a few parts of Soulvana Plus once for free, such as an exercise, a couple of recipes and the first days of the Coming Home programme. There's no time limit and you won't be charged. If you'd then like to unlock everything, you can do so with a one-time purchase of €9.99.
- My reminders aren't arriving.
- Check that notifications for Soulvana are allowed in your device settings (iPhone: Settings, Notifications, Soulvana; Android: Settings, Apps, Soulvana, Notifications). Also check whether a Focus mode, Do Not Disturb or Sleep is holding them back. On Android, battery saving can delay notifications. Reminders are scheduled on your device; if needed, switch them off and on again in the app to schedule them afresh.
- How does the Apple Health or Health Connect connection work?
- Everything is off by default and you choose each part separately. If you turn on mindful minutes, Soulvana writes the length of an exercise to Apple Health (iPhone) or a mindfulness session to Health Connect (Android) when you finish it. If you turn on sleep or activity, Soulvana reads your sleep, steps and exercise to show them next to your check-in and in your weekly report. What Soulvana reads is only used briefly in memory, is not stored and never leaves your device. Your device always asks for your permission first. You can switch it off in the app, in the Health app under Sharing, Apps, Soulvana, or in Health Connect under App permissions, Soulvana. There's more in the privacy policy under Health data.
- Is Soulvana coming to Android?
- Yes, Soulvana is coming soon to Google Play. The Android app works the same way: no account, everything stays on your device, and Soulvana Plus is a one-time purchase, through Google Play.
- How do I change the app's language?
- Soulvana is available in English and Dutch. Go to You, Language and choose your language. Then fully close the app and open it again.
- How do I export or erase my data?
- In the app, go to My data. There you can export all your data as JSON and as readable text, or remove everything in one go with Erase everything. Your data is only on your device, so if you delete the app, it's gone. It is included in your device's normal backup.
- I have a new device. How do I bring my data across?
- Restore your new device from the backup of your old one (iCloud, your computer or the Android backup). Soulvana has no account, so there's no other way to move your data. You get your purchase back with Restore purchases.
- Is Lumi in Coming Home a real coach?
- In Coming Home: 14 days with Lumi, your personal self-care coach, Lumi picks a tip after your check-in that fits how your lights are doing, with an exercise and a self-care card. On day 7 and day 14 you look back together. Lumi is an AI character, not a professional coach or healthcare provider. The tips follow fixed rules, with no AI model behind them. Soulvana does not replace medical advice.
- Is Lumi's voice real?
- Lumi's voice was made with AI (ElevenLabs) while the app was being made. Within the app itself, none of your data is sent to any AI service.
- Is Soulvana a medical app?
- No. Soulvana is an app for self-care and relaxation. It gives no medical advice, makes no diagnoses and is not a replacement for professional help.
